Third Day Revelation Tour, Bangor, ME
Concert was great. These guys really go a long way in reaching the crowd. Light show was great as well. Where can I get the LED display screen, very cool. I'm now looking for some of the lighting to use at the shows we will be doing very soon. Anyway...these guys were great live. So I'm standing listening to them, and my son, Ben says he wants to meet them, and I say "why not". So I went and became a member of WIRED, and Shazam....2 backstage passes (1 thrown in because I made Ben give the security guy the "7 year old puppy dog eyes"). I was stoked to meet them all, but as we were walking to the meet and greet something occurred to me. What do I say to a group of guys that I've been following and enjoying their music for 13 years. I mean at the risk of sounding like a 12 year old school girl....really, what do you say. So I stuck to the proverbial, "love your music". But great night, all of the guys were gracious (mac/mark/tai/david) and the latte's were excellent.

Hello, and here we are. This blog is all things music/ministry/technology, ...and, ok, anything else random I might think of. Lately I've been thinking what if you cut away all of the chaff, any of those things which scream the loudest in your life and listen for the still small voice of God....and then do what He is really telling you to do. I think so many of us miss out on so much more because we're only in tune to our own desires and our urgent issues at hand. Easier than it sounds... Anyway also I've been playing acoustic for a couple of months, by neccesity more than anything. But I was dying to break out my G&L and play electric again. So I'm bring her back out along with the effects. I'm going to attack this Sunday's service. The echo and chorus add alot to the worship service, and this guitar plays like butter....smooth. Favorite guitar by far. I had to sell my american strat, and I was going to restore it, but this thing plays so much better anyway.
